Wood Box Incense Burner & Holder Chest with Floral Brass Inlay is 12.25"/31cm long, 2.6"/6.5cm tall & 2.2"/5.5cm deep. Each chest is handmade in India out of sheesham rosewood, a hardwood indigenous to India harvested from sustainable renewable forest plantations. The top of the chest is pierced with a fret pattern and along the sides there are delicate floral & bud design brass inlay panels. There is a handy compartment at the base of the chest allowing convenient storage of incense sticks and holes either end for holding incense sticks whilst being burned and a groove down the middle to catch the burnt ash. The box is hand waxed to bring out and preserve the natural beauty of the distinctive grained timber.
